On our way towards the Colosseum |
The Colosseum |
The Pantheon |
Vatican |
Fontana di Trevi |
The town was very colorful |
The streets of Pompei |
The Vesuvius in the background... still looking menacing... |
And on top of Vesuvius we went. There's a steep path to the crater with a magnificent view over the Neaples bay. Vesuvius is the only active volcano on the European continent - thankfuly, dormant.

As always, your photos are beautiful~~ :)
It's hard for me to get my mind around how old things are there...and that you can take a bus trip to Rome. :))
You are VERY brave to stand on the lip of a volcano ~ even a dormant one!
What a wonderful adventure. Your photos are amazing, especially the ones from Pompei! Thank you for sharing. Hope your back and neck feel better!
Awesome pictures! You lucky you, to see all that stuff in person! I am green with envy. Sigh...
