A wildlife encounter

We were leaving Poljane and a young fox crossed the road. I've never seen a fox in nature so we were pleasantly surprised. The fox was curious about us, too, so she jumped behind a bush but kept checking us out. She couldn't decide if leave or not... but she eventually did. I managed to take some not that great photos of her, but here they are anyway :)

Really cute aren't they? I know fox can be all sorts of trouble, but I think they are one of the cutest predators around. I think these are good shots, 'cause they don't know how to pose :o)

Oh how cute, Sandra! I have seen a fox only once, too...and this is a shame as we live really near to the forest. We often have deers in our garden...but have seen a fox only once...I think it was 1-2 years ago. They are soo cute!

Wow, that must have been a wonderful experience. You are such a good girl not to forget to take pictures. Maybe not of the best quality but I do like those pictures, just like I love foxes. Pretty animals.

I have never seen one here, but there were many in the suburbs of Stockholm where I grew up. Also, I tried to comment on your kitty yesterday, but it didn't work. So let me say here, that she is totally adorable and you came up with a great name for her. We named a dog Bandit and that's what we got. I guess you'll get a zoom zoom cat.--Inger

What a beautiful little creature! Fox are meant to be stealthy and illusive, so that considered; they are great photos! Thanks for being at the right place at the right time!! :)))

Great pictures Sandra! We have one that comes near our house but only very rarely. He likes a little treat now and then. Shhh... don't tell the neighbours!
