Poljane

I had a really nice day today :). We had lunch with Elda and her gang at a trattoria on our way to Poljane pri Podgradu (Slovenia), my mum's birth village. There are only 9 people living there. Most of the houses are in ruin as people fled the villages in search of work in the years after WWII. Here are a few snapshots.
Stone wall, bench, church, mum's pumpkin
Local flora
Busy bees
Doors and some details

I think I messed up my comment, so I will try again. I loved the sunflower photo, the way you displayed it. And that church. You are such a great photographer, Sandra. I know you must have had a wonderful time there.--Inger
